Conflict Minerals Policy
Primatics, Inc. supports the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act as it relates to Conflict Minerals (Section 1502) designated to eliminate support of illegal and unethical actions in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) region. While we do not purchase tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold directly, they may exist in the components we buy. It is our aim to be “conflict free” and are working to responsibly purchase the components used in our products.
To ensure that minerals from the conflict region do not enter our supply chain, we expect our suppliers to investigate the chain of custody of conflict minerals in the products they sell to us and provide if requested, certification of their due diligence as outlined in the OECD Guidelines.
In 2017, Primatics joined the Burke Porter Group, a global collective of intelligent machinery manufacturers. The Burke Porter Group family now encompasses 31 locations across 4 continents, with manufacturing and support capabilities covering the globe.
